All About Mrs. Kitchen

            I am extremely excited and privileged to be your child’s teacher as they start their educational journey in Pre-K this year.  This is a special time for all involved and I plan on making and cherishing many memories. 

            I would like to take this time to tell you about myself.  I have always wanted to be a teacher and thus set out to do so from the college of my dreams.  I am a Fighten’ Texas Aggie Class of 2008, having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Prior to  leaving my hometown for Aggieland, I taught Pre-k at First Baptist Church CDC in Kilgore Texas.  I taught Kindergarten for 4 years; one year in McKinney Tx and the last 3 years, I have commuted to Gladewater to teach at Sabine Elementary.  I have been married for 2 years to my husband Lance, we live in Nacogdoches, and are expecting our first baby girl due in October 2012.  We also have a dog named Camden & a cat named Lock.  With a growing family it was time for me to leave my Sabine Elementary Family and take a job closer to home.  I am elated to start my new chapter of life here at Garrison Elementary.
