Take Home Folders:
Take home folders are a vital part of communication between home and school. In your child's take home folder you will find a monthly calendar with important dates and snack days, there will also be a weekly communication sheet that will need to be signed each night. On the weekly communication sheet you will find classroom news for the week as well as a snack reminder & your child’s behavior for each day. There will also be a weekly newsletter that comes home each Monday.
Class Commitments
Each day we make a promise to follow the commitment for the week and put
our star with our name on it in the star jar, during the day if you choose to
break your promise your name comes out of the jar, if you continue to break
your promise Mrs. Kitchen writes it in your folder and you don’t receive your
smiley face for the day and you miss some recess time. The next time you break your commitment there
is an office referral and further consequences if necessary.
Here are the commitments listed below. Please help us keep our classroom safe and discuss these with your child at home. It has been wonderful seeing the children look out for each other and remind each other to use safe hands, or to keep their eyes on the teacher. We really are building our classroom family community and I am very proud of the progress we have made. I know that with your help and all of us coming together as a team and family we can continue to have a successful year.
